經9月3日理事會决定，平華主席舆耀華會長底定，ACWWMMC（中美二戰纪念碑委員會）、蒙特利公園市議會舆全美退伍軍人總會397分會共同挙辦的建碑五週年纪念活動将如期举行。
另經舆397分會商談，他們提供两位接受貢献奖的英雄老兵，一位是二戰期间在菲律宾駐防被俘惨遭迫害死里逃生曾任蒙市退伍軍人分會總监并早在2009年即在議會聲援建碑的94岁桑切斯先生（Mr,William R.Sanchez）。另一位二戰老兵是89岁Mr.Dave Fuente。耀華會長正提供一位中國的二戰英雄老兵（将後补中英文名字）。值此這次受奖的個人共有三位二戰英雄老兵、四位創會元老、两位著名抗戰史实的老作家、两位爲纪念碑做出重要貢献的僑領，此为這次纪念活動的另一個亮點。

American and Chinese World War II Memorial Monument

Agenda
(The entire agenda can be summarized as “10 ones”: one flower, one group photo, one commemorative pin, one US flag, one national anthem, one honor guard, one written statement, one Chinese news briefing, one book – Friendship Across the Pacific Ocean, and one documentary film – Flying over the Pacific Ocean)
9:30 – 10:00: Reception – Each attendee will first receive a 5-Year Anniversary commemorative pin with show of their ID
10:00 – 10:10: American Legion Post 397 Honor Guard – Honor of American flag and gun salute
10:10 – 10:15: US National Anthem –CiCi 、Students from Sunshine Education Academy
10:15 – 10:20: Pledge of Allegiance – Led by American Legion, Councilman Stephen Lam林逹堅, and Mr. Roger Fan范允富
10:20 – 10:30: Wreath-Laying Ceremony – Joseph Shiue薛平華, Chair of ACWWMMA Board, Mayor Peter Chan陳贊新, Commander Gabriel Suarez苏亚雷斯，will be joined by Mr. David Chen陳耀華 and Mr. Peixin Cong叢培欣 of ACWWMMA
10:30 – 10:40: Offering of flowers – All attendees will offer a flower (not provided) in front of the monument, and then stand beside the City Hall entrance which is on the left hand side of the monument.
10:40 – 10:50: Outstanding Contribution Award – Elected officials to present the special recognition to:
William R.Sanchez, Dave Fuente,Joseph P Shiue 薛平華, Charly Y C Cheung 張玉池, Henry Yee 余顯利, Robert K Kwan 關甘澍, Sue Zhang 張素久, Henry Chang鄭锦玉, Zhaoxuan Liao廖兆暄, Ocean Chen陳圣海.
The presenters and the recipients will stand on the front row for a group photo.
10:50 – 11:00: Group photo for the 5-Year Anniversary Commemoration (using the monument and City Hall entrance as the background, photo will be taken from above)
The documentary, Flying over the Pacific Ocean, will film the entire Commemoration and will use it as part of the documentary film.
Conclusion
Note: After the Commemoration, Mr. Liao Zhaoxuan will sign his books for the first 20 registered book requesters on the Internet. He will also sign for the buyers of the book.
Water and refreshment are provided.

10：00- 10:10:美國退伍軍人397協會旗隊進場和鸣枪致敬；
10:10 – 10:15:劉胡玲女士領唱、美國阳光國際学院的学生合唱國歌；
10:15 – 10:20:宣誓——林逹堅議員、范允富會長、Post 397分會總监苏亚雷斯領誓；
10:20 – 10:30:敬献花圈——薛平華主席, 陳贊新市長、苏亚雷斯總监在陳耀華會長、叢培欣秘書長陪同下献花；
10:30 -10:40:所有舆会者献花，然后站在纪念碑左边的市政府门前面；
10:40 – 10:50:政要頒發杰出贡献奖：William R.Sanchez,Dave Fuente,薛平華,張玉池,余顯利,關甘澍,張素久,鄭锦玉, 廖兆暄,陳圣海。頒奖人和受者奖者站在前排同全體参會者合影；
10:50- 11:00:五周年纪念活動合影。
备注：《飞越太平洋》摄制组将拍摄整个纪念活動作为纪录片的一部分。廖先生将签贈《情洒太平洋》一書给前20名在网上登记者并簽名售書。活動提供水和点心。
